Maisy Jo

I opened Maisy Jo Vocal Studio in 2023 to create a studio that students can grow no matter their level or age. As we move into 2026, I would love to grow Maisy Jo Vocal Studio to the biggest it has ever been. 

Maisy Jo Vocal Studio will holding it's very own vocal night twice a year for Sydney students to perform for their family and friends. 

ABOUT

Hi, I’m Maisy Jo! I’ve been immersed in the musical theatre industry for many years and have a lifelong passion for performance, singing, and music. I moved to Sydney in January 2024 to study full time musical theatre at Brent Street. I’m now currently studying a Bachelor of Music Performance (Musical Theatre) at AMPA, building on years of experience performing, directing, and music directing for shows particularly ulary with NOW Productions.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on numerous musicals, helping performers bring their voices and characters to life. Music and teaching have always gone hand-in-hand for me, and I love helping students discover their own unique voice.

I won a TASA Award for Oliver! (Nancy) with NOW Productions. In my time at NOW, I was Musical Director for Lion King Kids and Light Up the Stage Jr (Annie and School of Rock) and Vocal Coach for High School Musical. I also directed Moana Jr, Breaking the System, This Summer and Light Up The Stage (Come From Away). I both wrote and directed two musicals, Breaking the System and This Summer produced by Now Productions. I have also been choreographer for 15+ musical productions.

Some past performing credits include Martha (Heathers with Brent Street), Dorothy (Wizard of Oz with NOW Productions), Wednesday (Addams Family with NOW Productions), Brooke Wyndham (Legally Blonde with Shane Davidson Presents), Eponine (Les Miserables with NOW Productions), Lucinda (Into the Woods with Adelaide Youth Theatre), Sandy (Grease with NOW Productions), Nancy (Oliver with NOW Productions) plus many more.

Currently working towards playing the role of Veronica in Heathers with the Adelaide Fringe (NOW Productions).
